Sarah, my brother's girlfriend, gave birth to a healthy baby boy on July 3 at 7:15PM. at mabigat, dahil 7.5 lbs hehe. my brother, whom i call Boyong (i suggest you skip the question why), is still in the US and is waiting for his new passport to be released (yes, he's now a certified US citizen) before he can go home. probably in a month. my sister told me how anxious Boyong was the minute he got news that Sarah was already in the hospital. pagkaka-describe pa ni ate, "hala ganyan pala si Boyong pag natataranta. di mo makausap at lakad ng lakad ng mabilis pabalik balik" hehehe. i would understand. that's just joy welling up coupled with the anxiety that he can't be at her side during this delicate process. though he missed the moment (the first sight, the first touch, hearing the first cry) i believe he's just as joyful hearing the news that JJ was born. oh, did i tell you his name yet? it's Jordan John. Jordan, obviously because Boyong and i are great fans of MJ (i mean his airness, not the king of pop). and John because of John the Baptist. and dahil daw si Jesus was baptized in the river of Jordan. ganon?! hmmm.. OK. makes sense. sige pwede na nga ikaw naman ang bida ngayon :)
it was funny my tatay called him "gi-gi" (that PLDT caller ID commercial before, it comes to mind). "GG?!? ano yan, galunggong?! tatay, it's JJ. let me repeat. J... J... got it?" :P everybody in the family is just so happy and excited. our family has seen only the first 4 pictures of the baby and here's one:
