hearing a bad news is one thing. but if it's about someone you know is even more sad.

last night as i was preparing for work, i received a call from a friend who told me Carter, the newest member of my technical team (from work) figured out in a vehicular accident in SCTEX (Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway). good thing he and his 2 kids (aged 4 and 3) were OK. what's worse however is that his wife died. i was suddenly overcame by shock and sadness to the point that i wasn't able to put my mind into everything i tried doing.

a couple so young. full of promises. how suddenly can life be taken away from anyone. *sigh*

today together as a team we offered a time to pray for Carter and his kids' fast recovery and strength to overcome this challenge of great proportion.

a moment of silence for Carter's wife. may her soul rest in peace.
